Congrats to the finalists and winners and see you all next year!   ________________________________________________________________ WELCOME TEAMS FOR 2009 Our 12th Year! Willowdale Red Wings will be hosting their fall tournament to kickoff the new hockey season. This tournament provides an opportunity for teams to compare themselves to their competition. We have always attempted to provide teams with a range of competition at this early event so everyone has a chance for some success. The tournament will be three days tournament with games during the day on Friday at Etobicoke Ice Sports, Iceland and Hershey Centre with the possibility of a limited number of games on Friday evening at local arenas and the balance of the tournament at Etobicoke Ice Sports on Saturday and Sunday. 3 game guarantee with semi-finals where possible and finals; 12/15/15 minute games for eight team divisions in PW AA; Bantam AA and A; Midget AA and A; and a four team Intermediate A division; 10/10/12 games for 7 other divisions of 4 teams to be determined based upon interest; 3 on-ice officials for Bantam and up age categories. Costs The cost this year will be $875 for the shorter games and $975 for the longer games. Returning by popular demand, there will be NO gate fee for spectators. Registration On-line registration: To register your username an email to hockey@redwings.ca stating team name, OWHA team number from your Intent to Register form, age and anticipated category of the team. All registration will be done on line using the ManagetoWin system we have used in the past. Once you have indicated your team's interest in entering and provided us with your user name the instructions for completing your registration and forwarding your payment will be sent to you.
